We will avoid this restaurant because of its service. The curry chicken was average at best and I wouldnt recommend it. Orange chicken and Tofu eggplant were two options worth trying. Overall, the food is good and is worth a try. We ordered a bunch of items and thoroughly enjoyed them. The thing that we hated most about the place was its service. The waitress was clumsy at best where she spilled water on the table and took 5 mins to bring napkins to clear it up. She did it again to the table next to us. Anytime we requested anything, she would forget and needed another reminder. When we gave her 12% tip, she had the audacity to call us back and demanded 18% tip.

Shanghai Bun in West Windsor offers a decent dining experience for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. During a recent lunch outing with my son, we sampled a variety of dishes including pork soup dumplings, wine chicken (served at room temperature), spicy beef noodle soup, and pan-fried chive buns. The standout dish of the day was definitely the spicy beef noodle soup, which delivered bold flavors and just the right amount of spice to tantalize the taste buds. The pork soup dumplings and pan-fried chive buns were also enjoyable, meeting our expectations in terms of taste and quality. In terms of service, we found the staff to be attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were promptly met throughout the meal. While Shanghai Bun may not be for everyone, it delivers solid food and service that are in line with expectations. Overall, it's a decent option for a casual lunch, and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Amazing place! This place is affordable, and the food here tastes really good. If you are going here for the first time, I would definitely recommend getting their soup dumplings. The quality of the food does depend on the day so I would say to go on Fridays or the weekend, where the food is more fresh. The service here is quite nice, although some waitresses can take longer to get what you need. Once it took us 20 minutes for us to get chili oil even though we had asked for it a long time in advance.

Not as authentic as expected. However, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is still good. The soup dumpling is hand made in restaurant, I kind of appreciating their dedication.

Was a NYPD Detective, and many a nights after closing out a case, the men and women in my squad would go to Chinatown to Woh Hop which is a Legitimate Chinese restaurant. I have to say, this place hits the mark. The taste of the food was exactly what I expected, Good Chinese food But don't let me be your judge, see for yourself, and enjoy. GREAT FOOD!!! No fancy decor, just great food. Our server was great, and our food was hot. Have a good time.
